TourismForAll organized the first Press Trip

25 de October 2019

TourismForAll organized the first Press Trip, in October 16-21 to promote accessible tourism. Our guests were bloggers from all over the world with specific needs and reduced mobility. But the taste for travel and a strong desire to know new destinations were not a barrier.

Jonh Morris (iWheelTravel), Emma Muldoon (Simply Emma), Blandine Even (Mille découvertes sur 4 roulettes), Zainab Abdullahi (JayonLife), Annemarie de Vries-Postma (The sitting Chef) and Sanna Kalmari (Palmuasema) marked this first edition. It was six days of mutual knowledge and sharing of experiences.

Our guests visited Lisbon and enjoyed a tour in the downtown area of this amazing city (Park Edward the 7th; Marquis of Pombal and Liberty Avenue), where they could immerse through histories and traditions. The tour also went through the Queluz National Palace, Cabo da Roca and Cascais. But beyond the capital, bloggers had the opportunity to visit Batalha and his monastery, and also Batalha’s Museum and the Interpretation Centre of Aljubarrota’s Battle. Last but not least, they had the opportunity to visit Nazaré, a portuguese traditional fishing village. The best of portuguese cuisine was also presented on this presstrip, especially the well-known Belém´s custard tarts.

We hope this experience has been enjoyable and enriching. Our mission is provide quality services to whom wishes to travel to and in Portugal, regardless of their health condition.
